Lemon juice diet just in time for Christmas hangover

IF you are looking to shed a few of those kilos added over Christmas, lemons just could be the answer.

You maybe looking at this story with a sour look at the moment, but according to leading health writer Theresa Cheung, the reason so many of us battle with weight issues is because our digestive systems are not working properly.

Cheung believes the conventional way of dieting tends to enhance weight issues that prevent them.

Including lemons in your diet – both juice and peel – will help your digestion and therefore hep shed those unwanted kilos.

Cheung told the Daily Mail:

“Research seems to show that if your digestive system isn’t working correctly, healthy weight loss is almost impossible.”

“The problem is that poor digestion can stop your body getting the nutrients it needs to burn fat. It can also cause a build up of toxins in your body, leaving you feeling slugglish and depressed.”

“This in turn, slows down your metabolism and making any weight loss goals unattainable.”

She is a massive fan of lemons.

“When it comes to boosting the body’s digestive and detox systems, lemon is a natural powerhouse,” Cheung said.

And the rules to this lemon juice diet is that you only have to have lemons in one meal a day – either a sqirt of juice or some peel.

It also relies on 30 minutes of exercise per day.
