Muesli is perhaps the ultimate breakfast cereal. It has all the best ingredients to get your day started, and if it’s made properly it tastes great too.
One of the most popular types of muesli is the Bircher variety. See our recipe for a delicious Bircher muesli that will get you through those tough mornings.
What you will need:
4 cups rolled oats
2 cups orange juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
2 cups water
4 cups grapes
1 grated green apple
4 tablespoons chopped hazelnuts
4 tablespoons chopped almonds
2 tablespoons honey
1 ½ cups natural yoghurt
Put the oats, orange juice and water in a big bowl, cover it, then put in the fridge overnight.
Stir the grapes through the mixture, as well as the apple, nuts, honey and yoghurt.
